Directions
The race will be staged from the Mount Vernon Garden at Washington Park in Denver. Washington Park is a long and rectangular park bordered by Virginia Avenue on the north, Downing Street on the west, Louisiana Avenue on the south, and Franklin Street on the east. It is one mile long by a quarter mile wide, covering 165 acres, making it one of the largest parks in Denver.
Parking
There is numerous street parking surrounding Washington Park. The largest parking lot is at South High School.

You can also pick up your race packet on race morning before the race.
Course Info
The race will utilize the standard certified Washington Park 5K course.
An Aid station will be located at mile 1.5. It will have water and Gatorade.
Bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates are not allowed in the race.

Awards
There will be an awards ceremony near the finish line after the race.
Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner in each race as well as the top three in each age group.
Age groups are as follows:
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29…… up to 80 and over
Virtual Run Info
This race can be run virtually if you choose. Please choose the virtual race option when registering. Virtual packets will include a shirt, medal and bib number and will be shipped to you free of charge. Click here for more info on our virtual run option.
Weather and Safety Issues
We all know that the weather in Colorado is day to day. The race will be run no matter what the weather!
Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates are not allowed in the race.
