I-71 North to State Route 73. Turn left on State Route 73, park entrance is approximately 6 miles on the right. DO NOT follow signs to the visitor’s center. There will be a large wooden Caesar Creek State Park sign at this road (there are no road signs here). Turn right and follow this road one half mile to the swim beach parking lot. You will pass the park office on this road. There are multiple turnoff’s on this road to various boat ramps. DO NOT turn off this road. Just follow it until you get to the swim beach parking lot. From Dayton:
US-35 East to US-42 South, turn left on State Route 73, follow State Route 73, the main park entrance will be on the left. DO NOT follow signs to the visitor’s center. Travel south from the airport, then east on I-70, then south on I-75 to US-73, turn left (East), follow through Waynesville, the main park entrance will be on the left. Camping

Hotels
The closest hotel to the park is the Holiday Inn Roberts Center at I-71 and US 68 (Exit 50). There are other numerous hotels within 20 miles of Caesar Creek State Park. Please visit Hotels.com and search Springboro, Dayton, or Wilmington, OH.
Course Info
The White Tail Trail Half Marathon will feature a point to point course around the lake, starting at the Fifty Springs Recreation Area and finishing at the Swim Beach. Runners will be shuttled from the finish line to the start line before the race.
The half marathon course is 90% dirt and grass single and double track trails and 10% pavement/gravel. This trail is open to walkers and runners only. Horses and bikes are not allowed on the trail. There is a stream crossing at approximately mile 5. Depending on the amount of recent rainfall, this could be anywhere from dry to ankle deep.
There will be seven aid stations in the half marathon. Aid Stations can be found at approximately miles 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 (unmanned), 9.25, and 11.75. Each aid station will be stocked with water and Gatorade. Select aid stations will also offer gels, Vaseline, and ibuprofen.
Restroom facilities can be found on the course at miles 1, 3.5, 6, and 11.75.
The 10K course will start at the Visitor Center near the dam and follow the second half of the half marathon course. The 10K is approximately 6.6 miles.
