  • Age Limit

    All participants in the 50K must be 18 years of age or older on race day.

  • Awards

    The race will be chip timed by HAL Sports and results and placements will be posted online. There will be an awards ceremony near the finish line after the race.

    Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner in each race. Gift Certificates from Runner’s Roost will be awarded to the top three male and female in each age group. Gift certificates will be valid at all Denver Metro Runner’s Roost stores. Age group are as follows:

    4 Mile: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over
    8 Mile/25K/50K: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

  • Drop Bags

    We will have a 10’x10′ tent with a tarp on the ground under it at the turn-around point of the race on Saturday. This is located about a 1/4 mile from the finish line. You are more than welcome to take a bag to this location and leave it for the duration of the race. We will also have an area at the registration tables for you to leave your drop bags if you want us to transport them to this tent for you. you are responsible for getting the bag back to the finish line after the race, which means you may need to walk the 1/4 mile back out to the tent after you finish.

  • Pacing and Crew

    Pacing
    We allow pacers on the final lap of the 50K only.

    Crew
    We only allow crewing of runners at the designated aid station locations. One aid station is located at the drop bag location, about 1/4 mile walk from the finish line. The other aid station can be accessed via County Line Road and requires about a one mile walk or bike ride. Please click here for course maps.

  • Virtual Run Option

    This race can be run virtually if you choose. Please choose the virtual race option when registering. Virtual packets will include a shirt, medal and bib number and will be shipped to you free of charge. Click here for more info on our virtual run option.

  • Weather & Safety Issues

    We all know that the weather in Colorado is day to day. The race will be run no matter what the weather!

    Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates are not allowed in the race.
