Runners Roost and New Balance Partner with the Winter Distance Series

Runners Roost and New Balance have signed on as sponsors of the Winter Distance Series held in Littleton, Colorado. Runners Roost is offering $6,500 in gift certificates for the three-race series to age group winners. They are also providing in-store registration at their Long Tree store. New Balance is offering all registrants who sign up in store 25% off a pair of shoes, as well as donating free shoes to race winners.

Runners Roost Lone Tree is hosting registration for the Winter Distance Series. Runners and walkers can visit the store at 9994 Commons Street, Suite 230, Lone Tree, Colorado, 80124 to register for the series or any one of the three individual races. Runners will save $10 off the pre-registration fees by registering for the whole series. Participants who register for the whole series will also get a free one year subscription to Colorado Runner magazine. Also, anyone who registers in store for any of the races will receive 25% off a pair of New Balance running shoes. In addition to in-store registration, participants can also sign up online.

Runners Roost is also giving $20, $15, and $10 gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race. The age groups are as follows: 14 and under, and then five year age groups up to 80+.

About the Winter Distance Series

Finisher’s medals to everyone! Awesome shirts. Hot chocolate and coffee. Warm indoor registration area and bathrooms. Cookies, fruit and muffins at the finish. Free post-race massages. All ages of runners and walkers welcome. The series kicks off on December 20 with the Santa Stampede 5K and 10K. Next up is Frosty’s Frozen Five and Ten mile races on January 17. The final race is the Snowman Stampede, which offers five and ten mile races on February 21. All three events take place at Hudson Gardens with the shortest race starting at 9 a.m. and then longer event starting at 10:15 a.m. A free kids race will kick off each event at 8:45 a.m.

Now in its tenth year, the series is sponsored by the Runners Roost, New Balance, Coda Coffee, Gatorade, the RRCA, Road ID, Orange Theory Fitness, Propel, Sports Authority, Revolution Running, Aspire Beverages, and Colorado Runner Magazine.
