Due to the narrow nature of the course at Sloan’s Lake Park, we will be running waves at the Cookie Chase 5K. There will be three wave start times at 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30 AM. You can choose to run in which ever wave you wish, but if you want to compete for overall and age group awards, you should run in the first wave at 7:30 AM.

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner in each race. Gift Certificates from Runner’s Roost will be awarded to the top three male and female in each age group. Gift certificates will be valid at all Denver Metro Runner’s Roost stores. Age group are as follows:

9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29…… up to 80 and over

This race can be run virtually if you choose. Please choose the virtual race option when registering. Virtual packets will include a shirt, medal and bib number and will be shipped to you free of charge. Click here for more info on our virtual run option.
